The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Anthony Joshua stated he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for next month's bout.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami's venue on December 19th.
Boxer's Mindset
"I'm going to injure his face and hurt his body. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I intend to genuinely try to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Civil Exchange
In spite of these statements, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - exchanged pleasantries and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul rather targeted former Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after Ngannou rejected a bout proposal.
Targeting Fury
Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Fury - and refused a large bet 'Tyson Fury' claims he will make on a Paul win.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
In spite of saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua chose not to speak negatively about his opponent's fighting skills.
"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's History
Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has mainly boxed MMA fighters or faded names since turning professional.
He was defeated by Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the inexperienced fighter continues to be one of boxing's biggest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28-year-old predicted a stoppage in the fourth or fifth round and stated he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly in the works for two years from now.
"It will be myself against Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul said.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers engaged in the usual stare-down, with their size difference on show, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how amazing it is that the bout is truly proceeding.
